Samsung Galaxy AceLaunched in January 2011, the Samsung Galaxy Ace is one of the mid-range level Galaxy phones. It runs on a mini SIM, has 2G and 3G connectivity and is affordable, especially now that there are many Galaxy Ace deals around, so you can snap up a bargain and have a super-smartphone to boot. The dimensions of the Galaxy Ace are 110.4 x 60.8 x 12.1 mm and it weighs just 104 grams. There is a stunningly clear TFT capacitive touchscreen that is multi-touch, and has 256K colours. There is a 127ppi density and has 240 x 320 resolution. Included is a 3.5mm audio jack and a loudspeaker to help you have privacy and use the phone hands-free so you can get on doing something else while having a phonecall. You can share files and data with the WiFi 802.11 b/g/n as well as WiFi Hotspot, and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and there is a micro USB slot that is the 2.0 version so it runs at high-speed. There is a 3.15MP camera that has a super-clear 2048 x 1536 resolution, and there is the option of geo-tagging. There is a 15fps QVGA video camera too, that lets you capture great videos. Thanks to the 2GB included and up to an additional 32GB of memory, you can keep all the videos you could ever want to.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace has 384MB RAM and it runs on a Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset with a ARMv6 600MHz CPU. There is an Adreno 200 graphics processing unit. There are three sensors that help the phone be handy, such as proximity sensor, compass and accelerometer. There are messaging services such as SMS threaded view, MMS, Email, Push Email and instant messaging. There is an HTML browser and there is AGPS and Java is via n MIDP emulator.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace is available in black or white, and has SNS integration, image and video editor, organiser, MP3 player and MP4 player with various audio and video formats available, as well as a host of Google apps built in. Those include Google Search, Maps, Gmail, Picasa, Google Talk, Calendar and YouTube. There is Swype predictive text and voice memo and dial. The Lithium-ion battery gives you up to 570 hours of standby time and 9 hours 30 minutes of talk time.
