Samsung Galaxy Mini Deals

Samsung Galaxy MiniLaunched in February 2011, the Samsung Galaxy Mini was a huge hit as it encompassed lots of Galaxy technology into a smaller device. This meant that people that found the normal Galaxy too large could have a more portable, less bulky phone. As it stands, the Samsung Galaxy Mini weighs just 113 grams, and is 112.4 x 59.9 x 11.5mm in dimension and it comes with a stunning 16 million TFT capacitive touchscreen display. The total size of the screen is 3.5" and has a 320 x 480 pixel resolution with a 165 pixel per inch density.

That stunning little screen is protected by the infamous Corning Gorilla Glass that is not only scratch-resistant but fingerprint-resistant. It has multi-touch technology as well as TouchWiz v3.0 UI overlaid. There are WAV and MP3 ringtones as well as vibrating alert. You get to have hands-free technology and privacy with the loudspeaker and 3.5mm audio jack, respectively. There is a video camera that is VGA quality and runs at 24 frames per second. The Samsung Galaxy Mini runs on the impressive Gingerbread 2.3 Android operating system. Powering the phone is the long-running Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset with 800MHz ARM11 computer processing unit. Add in a little Adreno 200 graphics processing unit and you have a device that can handle any app or program you throw at it. There are sensors that help with location and other features including compass, proximity and accelerometer sensors.

Messaging from the Samsung Galaxy Mini is from MMS, Email and threaded view SMS. There is an HTML browser with a stereo FM radio with RDS. You have AGOS and Java via an MIDP emulator.
